Non-magnetic drill pipe is used for directional drilling measurement while drilling. It has the functions of reducing external interference to the MWD device, signal transmission, conveying the power medium of the motor at the bottom of the hole and the power transmission of the drilling rig.
It is an important part under the hole with the characteristics of low magnetic permeability, high tensile strength and good torsion resistance.
It provides a non-magnetic environment for the in-hole measurement system that is not interfered by the magnetic interference of the drilling tool.
The magnetic field at the probe is almost equal to the nearby earth's magnetic field , so it can accurately distinguish the geomagnetic direction of the borehole and ensure the measurement accuracy of the measurement system.
